Chocolate Caramel Pretzels

These deliciously sweet pretzel’s coated in Caramel and chocolate are super delicious and easy.  This is great when you need a large amount of something to bring somewhere but you want something different that many people will like.  In this recipe I used Caramel made from sweetened condensed milk but you’re welcome to just use pre-made Caramel.

Ingredients:

  • 1 16oz bag of mini pretzels
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 pound of semi-sweeet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp of coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup of almond milk

Directions:

Begin by taking a 10 oz can of sweetened condensed milk and place it into a boiling pan of water.  Make sure the can is completely covered by water, lower the heat and simmer for 3 hours.  After three hours have passed pull the can out of water. You will now have a can of Caramel.

Taking your pretzel’s put them into a large bowl.  Pour the Caramel on top of the pretzels and toss the pretzels until they are completely coated.  Taking a baking sheet spread the coated pretzels out into an even surface and allow them to dry.

Lastly, you need to make your chocolate drizzle.  To make this pour the coconut oil, chocolate chips, and almond milk into a small pan over low heat.  Stir constantly until it forms a smooth sauce and everything is melted.  Taking the sauce drizzle it over the pretzels then let the pretzels cool and harden.

Once ready put into a bowl for everyone to enjoy!
